Reflection on Day of the Dead Assignment
The Day of the Dead assignment that was done in the fall semester in October. I had the honers of writing about my great grandpa. It took me about a week to work on it thanks to help of my mom. My favorite part of the project was asking my mom for assistance. I wanted to write about someone special so I choose my great grandpa. I knew a little bit of him but not enough so I asked my mom to tell me more about my great grandpa. My least favorite part of the project was that I wanted to do more than just a summary about my great grandpa, but then at the same time I don't know what. I learned a lot about my family even some things I never would've imagine. If I were to do this project again I would've took more time to write about my great grandpa than hearing the stories about him. If the teacher was to do this project again he should take more time on it and maybe make it into a slide show and have more pictures. It was a lot of fun doing this project so I think that the teacher should assign this work again. A rubric is something like a scoring tool that list the criteria for a piece of work or what counts. The rubric helps you see what kind of grade you will be getting. The rubric sort of helped me because I had a lot of ideas what I would be graded on.
