WELCOME...
My name is Daffny Rivera-Villatoro and I am 15 years old. My hobbies are swimming, reading, writing, and playing soccer. I want to attend San Francisco State University when I get out of high school. Right now I am planning of being a nurse, because I want to help people and their health. My plans might change in the future, but I sure I am going to be helping the world. I like to read books and learn new things. I like to learn things about the whole world like different cultures, religions, and a lot of other important things. I learn about different things by reading books, magazines, and so much more things. The best place for me to read and learn new things is in my house, or quiet places like the library. My favorite international book tat I have so read so far is named “In the Time of the Butterflies” by Julia Alvarez. The book is great, sad, and a bunch of other emotions. This year I want to learn a lot of different things, I want to have different ideas, different ways of seeing things. The way I am going to achieve it is by reading books, observations, questions.
I am going to talk about:
THE DAY OF THE DEAD ASSIGNMENT: This assignment is a really speacial assignment and I worked really hard on it. We had to write about something or someone you lost. And I had the privilage of writing about my great granfather. My mom helped me with this assignment she told me about a lot of different adventures he had.
FALL FINAL ESSAY: This was a summary I wrote really fast and I loved it. We had to read a story about a little boy who hated school, but then he started to realize that he needed school. It was a great story and I will never forget it.
I GOT THE BLUES POEM: I had a lot of poems that I really liked and I did them all in Mr. E class with Beto. He helped us do alt of poems and one of my favorite poems is I got the blues poems. Even though I rushed through them I really ended up liking it.
